We start by clearing weeds and moss, then run a rotary surface cleaner across the whole area for an even finish with no tiger stripes. Edges get finished by hand, and the paving is re-sanded so the joints are solid again.

Seal it and keep it

A sealer locks the sand in, slows moss and weeds right down and deepens the colour of the blocks. Ask for a quote with and without and decide for yourself.

Questions we get asked

Will pressure washing damage my block paving?

Not when it is done properly. We use a rotary surface cleaner at the right pressure for the surface, then re-sand the joints so the blocks stay locked in place. Blasting with a lance at full power is what causes damage, and we do not do that.

Is sealing worth it?

A good sealer slows the return of moss and weeds, stops the sand washing out of the joints and makes the colour pop. It is not right for every surface, so we will tell you honestly whether it is worth it for yours and quote both ways.

How long does it take?

Most driveways are cleaned in half a day. Sealing needs the surface dry, so it is usually a second visit a day or two later. You can leave us to it, we just need access to an outside tap.
